People v. L.S. June, 2026
Client charged with weapons possession and reckless endangerment for alleged participation in a drive by shooting. Police cameras picked up a vehicle matching the description of the defendant's car soon after the shooting and traced the vehicle back to the client's house. When looking in the vehicle a casing was observed on the floor and a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded an extended magazine and live ammunition. After a lengthy trial our defense was able to establish that the prosecution failed to prove that the defendant fired a weapon or that the weapon used met the statutory definition of a firearm. Client acquitted on all counts.
People v. B.S. April, 2026
Client charged with Burglary second degree for allegedly entering into a neighbor's apartment and stealing a jewelry box. As trial approached the defense won suppression of the identification of the client by the complainants. After suppression the client was permitted to plea to a misdemeanor with a conditional discharge.
People v. S.K. October, 2025
Client charged with murder in the second degree for intentionally stabbing another person causing his death. Trial centered upon the client's intent to kill and the jury agreed with the defense by acquitting the client of the murder charge and convicting her of the reduced charge of manslaughter.
